A longtime until 2010

Yesterday, my son and I had a photo session with the cats. He introduced the mommy cat to his robot girl. There are more pictures to come.

I have been working at it. But I think I finally got my son on regular bedtime schedule. He went to bed at 8:45 p.m. However, he was up by 7:30 a.m. He told me he had a good nap. A three-year-old concept of time is interesting.

I watched the two hour season finale of Lost. I. Love. Lost. It was excellent with perfectly timed commercial breaks to give me time to say OMG a lot. My husband had to calm me down at one point because I go so excited. Next season is the show’s final season. I can’t imagine what they have in store for the faithful viewers like me. It’s a damn shame that I’ll have to wait until 2010 for it. At the same time, I was listening to American Idol in the other room to see who would be in the final two. I’m sad for Danny Gokey go but Adam is going to the finale. YES!!! I know it seems like I have no life but sometimes we do what we got to do.

Library, park and grandparent time was fun yesterday. JJ was super happy. And I was super tired. The other mommies at the park don't know what to make of me since I like to play also. I guess mommies are suppose to sit and watch. But where's the fun in that!

The interview for story that I was suppose to do was cancelled so I had my favorite breaksfast--sausage biscuit and gravy at McDonald's. I made it just in time before the switch from breakfast to lunch. I am not sure what I'm doing for the rest of the day. I think we'll just hang around the house and do whatever.

    Glad to hear all is going well...and kibby is a tortoius shell tabby...and gorgeous. Glad to hear your MIL is zen with it all...I think she is alot like my xMIL. Have you heard anything on the job yet??

    I love that you play with the kids - I did too, and got the same incredulous stares from the other moms. What's with that?

    Anyway, Lost lost me. In my quest to honor the pledge of non-violence it has eliminated a LOT of shows. Amazing what I'm learning on HGTV - and wow, no psychos - well yeah, a few, but they don't kill anything but kitchens.

In the past, my birthday has always been a trigger for me to relapse or get anxious. But for the past two years, my birthday has been my birthday. A day to celebrate my birth.  Around Thanksgiving, I started feeling different. December was just a month of misery. I now realize that my meds had stopped working. So here I stand at a crossroad--I can increase the dosage and continue on my merry way or not. Remeron not only stabilizes my mood but gives me an appetite.  I haven't had one since Thanksgiving. I eat based on time. If it is 7:15 a.m., it is breakfast. BOOK REVIEW: The Other Emily by Dean Koontz

  It is hard to write about "The Other Emily" by Dean Koontz. It is not because it is a bad book. I was pretty pleased with and enjoyed it. But how do you write about a book without giving away key plot points? The synopsis is simple. Emily Carlino vanished 10 years ago after her car broke down on a California highway. COVID is the worst

It has been almost two weeks since my son was diagnosed with COVID-19. COVID is the worst because there are very few ways to treat it. And you can't be near your loved one. So I am calling a few times a day and praying. I visited him on Saturday. He stood at his window and waved at me standing outside of it.   There are 608,946 people in South Carolina who have or had COVID. My son is one of those people.  He isn't just a number. He is a 15-year-old wise-ass who loves to play video games, read anime, and sing. He is not sure what he wants to do with his life but I want him to be able to have a life.
