I finally did it.  I joined Netflix. I am now officially a Netflick junkie. Since moving to RR, I have relied on the policy of if I am meant to see a certain movie, I will. The story intrigued me.  I realized the only way to see this movie was either R ed Box or Netflix. I signed up for the one DVD plan. I watched the movie and now I am hooked. I have worked on my queue like crazy. 500th post!!!!!

This is my 500th post!!! I can't believe it has been that many. I started this blog in 2009 to give myself a voice. I had been fired from my longtime job, deep in ED and my mother was dying. I needed to do something. Writing on this blog gave me a sense of purpose and a chance to connect with many people. Through the years, all of you have helped with deal with bad ED relapse, collapse of my marriage and the death of my mother.  Since then I have been able to introduce to the world my heart and soul--my son. And being to continue on the road to recovery. It has been an amazing journey and I plan to continue to write more. Currently, I have been the most healthiest I have been in my life since being diagnosed with anorexia. I enjoy not only sharing my life but having a chance to share in other people's life. Thank you for all the support that you have given me. I really appreciate it. Here's to 500 posts and many many more!

Returning home after Spring Break

Image
I have returned to RR after spending a week with my son. It was the best vacation I have had in a long time. We didn't really do anything but spend time together.  I have become an expert in Ninja fighting and comic book heroes. I needed to get away and just chill. I did that. Now I am ready to take on the world. Being on vacation has taught me a few things. The first is that all work and no play makes for a cranky Jackie. Warm weather is coming so I plan to spend more with JJ outside. My son is a smart little cookie. He wants to be a scientist when he grows up. It was fun watching him with his microscope looking at specimens.  I have decided to really work on improving my skill set. I want to move closer to JJ. I want to be able to have lunch with him or go to his school activities. I feel like I am missing out on so much. I now know what I have to do. DAILY DOSE 1. Enjoying the beautiful Spring Day. 2. Looking at my Spring Break photos of JJ. 3. Vegging o

Day 3 of Amazing Spring Break

It is the return of the Ninjas. I am at the Tot Park with my son and nephew. They like the park okay. They are the biggest ones here. I love because it is surrounded by a child proof fence. This has been a great vacation. It is all about spending time my guy. He is getting taller and taller. Daily Dose 1. Time with my son. 2. Being honorary Ninja. 3. Being greeted with a beautiful smile each morning.
